I don’t know why I expect better from the Chicago Tribune, except that I tend to trust that its reporters have eyes, and talk to one another. They had half a dozen people covering the Republican National Convention, but they still come out with crap like this, in their post-debate analysis:
Though the debate brought the war into sharp focus, the war as a political issue is far less clear. Protests and anti-war feelings have been largely passive and confined to the Internet. And that is good news for the incumbent.
