A private jet that crashed early Monday while approaching a Houston airport — killing three people — had been due to pick up former President George H.W. Bush as a passenger, his office said.
Bush had been scheduled to board the Gulfstream G-1159A jet for a flight to Ecuador, where he was to attend a Chamber of Commerce conference in Quayaquil. He canceled his trip after the accident, conference organizers said.
Oh no, George. You’re not getting out of it that easily.
