More Guard Deaths in Iraq than Vietnam

From Holden:

No wonder recruits are shunning the National Guard in droves. In a correction to an earlier story about the fatality rate for the Guard and Reserves in Iraq surpassing that of the regular army, USA Today throws out this interesting factoid:

Throughout the 12-year Vietnam War, for example, fewer than 100 Guard troops were killed, compared with the 145 who have died in less than two years in Iraq.

Shit.
