House Republicans have rescinded the DeLay Rule, supposedly at the behest of the Bugman himself. The story is that DeLay had a second thought and decided that allowing members of congress who have been indicted to serve in a leadership role might look bad.

Back in the real world, Travis County DA Ronnie Earle has reached an agreement with a second corporate donor to DeLay’s PAC (it’s Sears this time), continuing his strategy to divide and conquer. Methinks the handwriting is all over the walls of the House Republican caucus.
