Via Guy, we find the still-festering animated corpse of neocon fruitbat Richard Perle. Walking around, muttering about where we’re going to squander what’s left of our military to chase rainbows and finally, finally get that pot of gold he’s sure is out there.
What to do with King Richard? Can’t live with him, he’s wrong all the time and people start wars based on the stuff he’s wrong about. Can’t kill him, it’s illegal plus where will we ever find a stake and that much garlic at this hour?
In his latest diatribe before the AIPAC conference he begins again the rhetoric of war upon the backs the soldiers of this country, their families as well as all taxpayers.
From Dana Milbank’s article in the WaPo:
“Perle provoked cheers from the crowd when he favored a military raid on Iran, saying that ‘if Iran is on the verge of a nuclear weapon, I think we will have no choice but to take decisive action.’ When Harman said the ‘best short-term option’ is the U.N. Security Council, the crowd reacted with boos.”
Seriously, if there was ever proof that the neocons don’t care about being right, Richard Perle is it personified. Someone like him should be banished, shunned in society. People should turn their backs on him. Former friends should refuse to receive him in their homes. He and his “Saddam Hussein is capable of attacking the United States with a nuclear weapon” ideas made them all look really, really, really stupid and for the life of me I can’t figure out why they don’t smell the stink coming off him and move away when he approaches.
