A little bump in the new jobless numbers last week.

In the week ending Aug. 13, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 316,000, an increase of 6,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 310,000. The 4-week moving average was 312,750, an increase of 2,750 from the previous week’s revised average of 310,000.
