Betcha Atrios Takes The Over

From Holden:

Only 122,000 new jobs created in May? Tomorrow will tell the tale, but that’s not much of a Boom ya’ gotcherself there, Bushie.

A private report based on payroll data estimated that U.S. companies added 122,000 jobs in May, the fewest this year. The report by ADP Employer Services debuted last month. The company says there is a 90 percent correlation between its data and the Labor Department’s private employment figures.

The Labor Department is set to release its May employment report on June 2. The median forecast of economists polled by Bloomberg is for 170,000 new jobs, compared with an average of 185,000 in the first three months of the year.

In April the economy created 131,000 private-sector jobs and 7,000 government jobs.
