Saddam’s lawyers, anyway.

Gunmen have kidnapped and killed one of Saddam Hussein’s chief defence lawyers and dumped his body in a Baghdad street.

The number two on Saddam’s defence team, Khamis al-Obeidi was the third defence lawyer to be killed since the start of the trial of the ousted Iraqi dictator and seven co-accused on charges of crimes against humanity. His death is likely to revive complaints Iraq’s violence is hindering a fair trial.
