The joke on Colbert the other night was something like “Part of the compromise is that being ‘drawn and quartered’ will now be known as being ‘drawn and halved’: 50% less torture.”

A caller on the Ed Shultz show today said (paraphrasing): okay, torture’s ok. Soon as the Dems take control the House and Senate we can round up Bush Admin criminals and torture them until they give up all the secrets. Or whatever.
