[I]ncumbent Democrat U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson maintained his huge lead against Republican challenger U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris. In the [Mason-Dixon] poll, Nelson had the support of 58 percent while Harris got 34 percent.
Brad Coker, managing director of Mason-Dixon in Florida, said the results were definitive for the Senate race.
“The voters are locked in. Nelson’s re-election is a certainty,” Coker said.
