Chimpy Matches All-Time Low in Q-piac Poll

There’s a new Quinnipiac University poll out.

American voters disapprove 58 – 35 percent of the job President George W. Bush is doing, matching his all-time low in a June 1 Quinnipiac University poll.

Voters disapprove 66 – 30 percent of President Bush’s handling of the war in Iraq and say 56 – 40 percent that going to war in Iraq was the wrong thing to do.

The folks at Q-piac have another poll out ranking twenty politicians based on the respondents’ “warmth of feelings” for each. Chimpy closked in at number 15.

The survey, taken the week after the Democrats won back Congress, asks voters to rate the warmth of their feelings for leaders on a scale of 0 – 100. Speaker-elect Pelosi’s rating has jumped from a 34.7 mean temperature in September to 46.7, slightly behind New York Sen. Hillary Clinton’s 49.

  1. Wow ! Hilary Clinton (the archetype of evil, if we can’t criticize her politics we can attack her for being a woman in power) made it higher than Shrub.
    By number 17, even Newt Gingrich gets the warm fuzzies (even his supporters don’t confuse him with being a teddy bear).
