David Duke calls Blitzer a Jewish extremist

And I surrender to today’s theme started earlier when I posted about the return of 2 Bad Pennies but then there’s…David Duke on CNN. At this rate maybe we’ll get a nickel’s worth of yuck by the day’s end.

David Duke hits at Blitzer in the interview below. He opened the interview resentful of CNN’s intro setup piece of him (too much mention of KKK for David). He proceeded to tell Wolf Blitzer…

I think you’re biased because you’re a former lobbyist for AIPAC. You’re a Jewish extremist, supporter of Israel, so you want to bias anyone who criticizes Zionism. (transcript here)

Later in the interview it gets heated again…

BLITZER: … if we invited you on, why is there a Zionist conspiracy if we’re letting you on television right now? How do you explain that?

DUKE: How do I explain that? I think that you can’t affect the news. You’ve got — I think you have to put some spin on what’s happening in Iran.

BLITZER: But we didn’t have to invite you on CNN.

DUKE: And you want to — it’s an attack mode, always an attack mode when people like myself come on there. But you thought you could handle me with your 11 connotations of the Ku Klux Klan.

BLITZER: All right, let me…

DUKE: But you know something? You can’t handle me, and you can’t handle the truth, and the fact is, you are an agent of Zionism. You work for AIPAC…

The whole interview was over 8 minutes. Below are the two segments where he attacks Blitzer (1:50 minutes)

And if you don’t want to hear David Duke at all (and AmericBlog questions should CNN have had him on to spew and get a plug in for his website) then how about a video tribute to Peter Boyle over at watertiger’s place…it’s got tap dancin

  1. It doesn’t matter that Duke is occasionally right; I’ll bet he thinks the sky is blue, too. Find someone who isn’s associated with a historically terrorist organization to make the point.
Duke was a leader in the KKK 30 years ago, and the only thing that seems to have
changed is the price of his suit and the slickness of his presentation. He spoke at a meeting about a mile from my home in the mid-1970s, burning crosses and all.

  2. Frankly, I hope the guy gets tons of exposure so that folks can see how bad he is. This clip you gave is a good first step.
Wasn’t he also sighted at the Iran conference to prove the Holocost never happened?
Now if we could just get a picture of him and Shrub in a pasionate embrace…

  3. Duke obviously mixed up his interview notes and thought he was being interviewed by Pammy over at Atlas Shrugs.
Personally I think Wolf is much prettier.
your 11 connotations of the Ku Klux Klan.
    Davie, if the hood fits…
