I will never forget Barbara Jordan. I listened to her in absolute awe, as she spoke at the Democratic Conventions, at the Watergate Hearings, and at other public gatherings. When she was no longer in Congress I felt a great loss. She was a great politician, something we have a vast shortage of now.
