Respect for Religious Freedom

Comments from another site taken at random from Michelle Malkin’s blogroll. These all follow pictures of Muslims at prayer or observances:

All we would need is one smart-bomb to fry those Freaks.

Just One Bomb dear God

Yet another great target opportunity, missed.

Did they kiss Allah’s black vagina yet?

Where is a suicide bomber when you need one?

This is the most visual argument I’ve seen yet for nuking Meccä.

  1. Way late, but I just stumbled across it again-remember, these are the folks who brought us the “It’s in the Koran” video, then threw a WATB hissy fit when it got removed from Yahoo.

  2. I like Bill Scher of Liberal Oasis, I really do — one of the brightest commentators out there, but he went to school with Malkin (Oberlin College) & really seems to like & respect her — I honestly don’t understand that — it seems self evident to me that she is one sick puppy now (whatever she may have been as an undergraduate).

  5. Just curious, but what happens if you reply, along the lines of “you cannot really mean that, those are people too, you know”? Or ask them what they’d think if their mother, or children, read it.
They are, after all, helping the terrorists. That kind of talk makes for great recruiting material.
Oh well, wrestle with pigs, you get muddy.

  6. Healing can’t come from without. The people who feel like those commenters won’t come to recognition of the hate that’s in their own souls until they experience a level of personal tragedy that brings it into the light. What I think we’re heading for as a country is just that. People have to have their faces shoved into it. It’s an automatic mechanism: we bring forth exactly that which we fear or loathe the most. That’s how it comes into the light. Then we recognize it in ourselves, we become aware and take responsibility for it. We understand, we grow and move on.
But first it HAPPENS. 🙁 And with so many folks lacking self-awareness, it has to be big…

  7. Can that be undone? That is a lifetime of fear, dripping out with every syllable. We really do need an Edwards or an Obama – a calm healer type – to win in ’08. Much more of this fearmongering and folks like that one are gonna pop.
