Imus falls short a lot in my opinion, but I see him as a veteran of the broadcasting business, too. I dislike the master race baiters Jackson and Sharpton more.
People who have never seen/heard his show probably don’t realize that Imus himself is the #1 target of insults on the show — from both his employees AND his guests.
I guess freedom of speech doesn’t apply to straight white males or whatever category Imus fits into. Imus must have thought he kissed enough liberal ass over the years to get himself a pass from the race hustlers. I’ll have to add Nappi-Headed Ho’s to my list of outlawed words.
