Dollar Bill Jefferson is to be indicted today according to the AP.Jeffrey at Library Chronicles has more. For some background on his thoughts…there had been rumors in Louisiana that Nagin is looking to make a run for governor.

He has been indicted on “federal charges of racketeering, soliciting bribes and money-laundering”…
The indictment handed up in federal court in Alexandria., Va., Monday
is more than an inch thick and list 16 alleged violations of federal
law that could keep Jefferson in prison for up to 200 years.
