Hostages held at Clinton campaign office

Aut_0214

Part of downtown Rochester
has been evacuated as police respond to an armed standoff with hostages
at Hillary Clinton’s local headquarters. Two volunteers are believed to
be hostages.

The incident began at about 1 p.m.

In an
interview with WMUR, Lettie Tzizik, an employee of a nearby medical
supply company, said a woman who had been released with her small child
by the intruder fled to her nearby worksite to seek help. The woman
said a man with pepper-and-salt hair in his 40s with what appeared to
be a bomb duct-taped to his chest had entered the office and ordered
everyone onto the floor.

Former U.S. Attorney Bill Shaheen, a
high-ranking Clinton campaign official, said two volunteers were being
held captive. He confirmed Tzizik’s account of the apparent bomb.

  1. The CNN story is kinda vague–it says that the Clinton campaign people said they believed two people were inside the office at the time the guy entered, and that now two have been released. But nothing about the hostage-taker, and they say it isn’t known if anyone else is still inside. If there were any others inside, this isn’t over.

  2. Hoppy, I hate to admit it, but one of my first thoughts was that I can see it now: the hostage taker is obviously a liberal as conservatives are law and order types while liberals are the insurrectionists.

  3. Pansy, Pansy, Pansy…no one ever heard of Hillary until this publicity stunt kept her name on CNN for several hours. Instant name recognition.
Now, don’t tell me people already knew who Hillary is. Surely, that can’t be the case.
