I don’t own a ferret and probably never will, but I’ve come to look forward to the Friday ferrets. It comes about the time during the week that the daily unfolding news and political infighting reaches the point that I just want to say, “Stop the world, I want to get off.”

I say this only because I had recent (this past week) experience with young opossums coming into my house…curled up like that, with that coloring, he looks a LOT like a teenage opossum. But nicer…no hissing and bared teeth, I expect.
With a pet door, sometimes every day’s an adventure.

Oh, and I apparently cannot type my own name. Opossum addled, I am gonna claim.
