Hello. My name is oyster and I write atYour RIght Hand Thief. I’ll be guest-blogging here on Tuesdays, at the pleasure of A or until I totally muck things up– so let’s get started.
This morning I’m thrilled because the local “NOAH scandal” story broke out into the national media today, and bloggerKaren Gadbois was mentioned inthis NYT article. Word on the street is that Karen will also be featured in a related article in tomorrow’s NYT. (The “angle” might be blogging, though, so wear your slickers when you read it.) Full props to Karen Gadbois’ diligence on this story, and her intrepidity of spirit in general. She’s really been a titan of activism in post Federal Flood New Orleans.
First Drafters have been clued into the NOAH story for a while now, thanks to Scout Prime’s always-excellentNOLA blogging. Now it’s blowing up, and could go any number of places.

This is unrelated, but what is up with theWikipublicans? You know, the Goopers who make Wikipedia their “go to” source of information on important issues. How widespread is this, do ya think?
Good for Gadbois, and yay, Oyster Tuesdays!
the NYT is doing actual news?
Oyster at First-Draft? It’s like when Joe Stummer fronted for The Pogues!
We’re the Pogues?
AWESOME.
A.
Two great tastes that taste great together.
Congrats to all y’all.
We’re the Pogues?
Hmmmm…
I don’t know about the musical ability but I’ve seen pictures of everyone involved-all of you have all your teeth.
Does Jude mumble?
Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash at First Draft? Sounds like the Pogues to me. Rock the casbah, y’all.
Congrats Oyster!
On your wikipublicans… I am not surprised that Republicans would base decisions on unreliable information. We are in Iraq after all.
Yeah, y’all in for some most excellent blogging with da Erster. Go get ’em, bivalve!
