One of my fav. people at work is an archaeologist.
noy just about bones. read national geographic at the chiro today. human bones found in the sahara while looking for dinasaur bones. 8,000-6,000 yrs ago. when it used to be green. GIRAFFE carvings!

Wow! Having spent the last three years educating myself about religious history (there’s not a lot you can do in that short amount of time, but I’m really trying. Read Thunder Perfect Mind–fascinating!), this is way, way cool.
I also wonder what impact, if any, this will have on the history of the alphabet.
Gee, and the only ancient text joke I have under my belt concerns the Talmud, a body of writing not nearly as old as this one that apparently says “judge” and “king” on it as far as they can tell.
I guess the one thing I CAN say is some things never really change… 😉
