Today on Tommy T’s Obsession With The Freeperati – Son Of Birth Certificate Blues

Good morning, everybody!
First of all, they’re STILL crawling along on the pledge drive. As they used to wrap these things up in a week or so, this is amazing. Secondly, they’ve recovered enough to start pouncing on minutiae like a crash survivor rejoicing because they found an undamaged candy bar in the glove compartment of a car that has crashed and killed the driver and all the other passengers – AHA! Success!!

Assuming that they’re really human, this speaks to the resiliency of the human spirit.

Well, let’s get suited up and crack that airlock door, shall we? Everyone stay on the raised walkway this morning – a Brent Bozell article got dropped and spread a thick slime all over the floor. I called Breitbart and asked him if he wanted Bozell’s prime slime for his new Hollywood-bashing website, but he advised me that evenhe has standards. Whatever.

First up –Steele reaches out hand. Freepers produce axe from behind back.‏

Michael Steele, the new chairman of the Republican National
Committee wants the GOP to reach out to candidates who support gay
marriage and are pro-choice. Steele told Fox’s Chris Wallace that it
was “important” to reach out to those voters.
WALLACE: You are
one of the co-founders of something called the Republican Leadership
Council which supports candidates who favor abortion and gay rights.
STEELE: Yes.
(watch video)
WALLACE: Does the GOP needs to do a better job of reaching out to people who hold those views?
STEELE: I think — I think that’s an important opportunity for us,
absolutely. Within our party we do have those who have that view as
well as outside and my partnership with Christy Todd Whittman was an
effort to build a bridge between moderates and conservatives.

The GOP can now forget about my vote.

If you live in Maryland, you know that Steele is no conservative. He is in fact a moderate with leftward leanings.
The information is out there.
If you are surprised that the RNC hired a RINO, then you have not been paying attention.

I actually supported him for RNC Chair.
Warning flags came up when he didn’t offer a staunch defense of Rush
Limbaugh. Now this. Crapola.

Here’s an idea:
The only way to maintain a conservative site is to start banning Michael Steele supporters.

Well, as Free Republic stages their re-enactment of the killing of Julius Caesar, we’ll get on to more putrid confections after the jumperooni.

  1. You truly are providing a public service. Eventually they will try to disavow this crap. “We’re not a hate site, you whore!” and such. And then we’ll need the quotes to prove it.
    *hands you a cold one*
    A.

  2. I just loved the “I thought only Indonesian citizens could attend school there. But I must have been wrong”

  3. Tommy T – you’re link hit the nail on the head on why some consider me anti-military.
The Military runs ads about how they’re gonna broaden your horizons and make you “Army Strong”. They brag on the quality of their medical care and seemed surprised that being in a war zone could affect people.

So, it’s official. There is no longer such a creature as a moderate Republican. You’re either (from right to left): a Freeper, merely a raging wingnut (already suspect), a RINO, or a Stalinist.
Thanks Tommy. You and EarlG make my week. (EarlG not so much these last few months, but then he does have a new kidlet.)

  5. Ah, that’s what I needed, more reminders that the party of Reagan & Bush I & II is DEAD DEAD DEAD !!!!!
Watching the fiscal wingnuts run away screaming from the religious right is most refreshing.

  6. Kudos, Tommy, on another superb collection.
One of the things I most appreciate about the way you keep (ugh) trolling these fetid waters is your capture of the posters’ taglines, which can be as revealing as what they post.
This one speaks to the person’s ineffable innumeracy (as well as his/her arrogance):
(PAM of JT ~~ If Roe v. Wade would have been 10 years earlier, Nobama would NEVER have been born)
Hmmm … Roe v. Wade was decided in January 1973, the president was born in August 1961.
Maybe the poster is using base 12 instead of the decimal system? Nah, not a chance.
