organizers on the calls that Thursday’s rally and storm through the
halls of Congress were the tea partiers last chance to stop what
Bachmann called the Democrats’ plan to “literally have the power of
life and death over you.”

“There are no other rabbits to pull out of the hat,” Bachmann said. “This is the only thing I can think to do.”

I’ve tried not to get too riled by this teabagger nonsense and by Erickson’s WOLVERINES bullshit, and all their talk of strike forces and revolutions, because deep down I think if the shit hits the fan these people are about as likely to be the badasses they think they’ll be as they are to sprout wings. But if this turns into a riot tomorrow, it will be one incited by an actual member of the House of Representatives and that, I think, is something we’ve not seen in a while.

I mean, for God’s sake, NOTHING IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. Harry and Joe are competing for the title on So You Think You’re a Pussy, Obama is trying to tell America he has no idea who these freaks are and they certainly didn’t arrive in his limo, everyone has forgotten what they liked about Republicans maybe ever, and no health care takeover is in any way imminent.
