I went to the Atlanta stop on that tour — Police, U2, Peter Gabriel, Brian Adams, and I forget who-all else. I have had a few religious experiences in my life, but a full Omni, 16,000 strong, singing along with U2 on “Pride (In the Name of Love)” has got to be one of the top two or three.
Oh, goodness. I was there at Giant Stadium. I remember that the audience response at the end of ‘Biko’ was deafening, and seemd to go on forever. Amazing. Thanks for this.
