RUSH: Benjamin Netanyahu, who may be the closest thing we have to a Ronald
Reagan or Margaret Thatcher today, Benjamin Netanyahu is at the United Nations.
He’s giving a great speech, and he’s now using a visual aid. He’s got a picture
of a bomb, a circular bomb with a fuse coming out of the top, and he’s
explaining where Iran is. No interpreter needed for this. He is explaining to
the dictators at the UN how it all works. It’s fabulous. (laughing) It is great.
I’ve never seen this.I’ve never seen a visual aid at a United Nations General
Assembly major address like this.
Neither have I.
Here’s a tweet from a journalist, Chris Hayes: “Bibi veering into self-parody
with a drawing of a bomb with a lit fuse.” So the media’s making fun of
Netanyahu for his visual aid of the bomb, that he’s veering into self-parody.
And actually, he’s just trying to explain to the essence of a bunch of second

I thought the bomb was crudely drawn. Of course Rush hasn’t seen such an amateurish drawing (on a par with a hand drawing on the back of his napkin at lunch), most countries want to present a polished presentation.
With all the art software out there (from powerpoint on up), he could have at least made it look decent.) Not to mention, doesn’t he have folks working for him to polish his presentations. I’m sure Israel has at least one computer artist.
From a factual standpoint, while the Limbaughs are in ecstacy (or was that Oxy-tacy) over the fact that he drew a line in the sand, I haven’t heard or seen anything that puts any verifiable trip line in the sand. The speech was the equivalent of 2 bullies in a bar – each of them saying “You’d better not push me too far.”
For that matter, putting out a trip wire is stupid. Iran can always get around the trip wire and truthfully claim that they are in full compliance with Israel’s trip wire.
Dumb Question: As Colin Powell’s presentation of clear, incontrovertable evidence on Iraq was extremely well done, I suppose Rush went just as over the top for it?
Or taking what he says on Netanyahu, is he saying that N’s presentation was more skilled than Powell? (With obvious question of where did following Powell’s presentation work out for us?)
AND PLEASE. Stop the Wylie Cayote jokes. He exclusively uses the high quality Acme Brand graphics which are always of a much higher quality. And even at a higher quality, every poster is guaranteed to have a part failure at a crucial moment, leaving Wylie in the air facing the inevitable gravity.
The freepers are proving, once again, that they’ll believeanything John Hagee tells them, and that they luvs them some warmongering authoritarians.
To the rest of the world, Netanyahoo came off as a condescending clown. To the
