Halloween Election Update

If you’re like me, you’re mainliningNate Silver’s awesome 538 blog. Nate has applied the principles of baseball Sabermetrics to polling data. Thing continue to look pretty good for the Dems and not so good for the serial liar Willard Rmoney. I’ve been doing this particular update on Facebook but decided to share with y’all:

Only a 22.6% chance of electing our first robot President.

That’s all.

  1. That’s an insult to us robots. We all know about Romney – It does not compute!

  2. To quibble. I’m not sure about the “first” robot. Ever notice how Romney’s hair looks a lot like Nixon? (admittedly, you have an easy refutation by pointing to the Checkers speech. But I note that the Checkers speech was so memorable because it was so unlike him.)

  3. @Maple: Tricky Dick was the dark, neurotic side of humanity writ large. Very human; no robot could have delivered his bizarre exit speech to his staff.

  4. Yeah, what Kaleberg said.
    Romney’s not a robot, he’s a HUMAN-WEASEL hybrid.
I hope that next time the GOP nominates Bender. Sure, he’s outspoken about “Death to Humans”, but isn’t that just saying out loud what is already in the GOP platform?
