  1. Maybe he can have the thing sliced off and then grafted under his nose. Voila! Instant mustache with lipstick chaser!

  2. Goldie:
Major Kong, I know you’re gonna think this a crazy but I just got a message from base over the CRM 114. It decodes as Wing[nut] Attack plan R.
    R for Romeo.

  3. My initial reaction on seeing this was a fear that some posse communtatis / white supremist / etc. group was preparing to be on the more.

  4. This guy was the “winner” of a contest and received $15K for having that put on his face. Now he can pay $15K and a lot of pain to have it removed.

  5. I’ve got a pair of angel wings on my back with “We are in a three-way split decision for third place!” in Gothic Sans on my back from the 2004 Democratic primaries. A 5th place finish in New Hampshire, after living in the state for months, was just the victory Joe Lieberman needed to take the White House. I’ve never looked back or gone swimming without a t-shirt since. Joementum 4ever!

  6. As an aside, doesn’t the whole logo look like some corporate, focus group tested POS? I mean, at least the Obama logo looks like a stylized rising sun. The idea being, I guess, the rising sun brings hope and a new day (change).
But RR? That’s it-the whole thing, the raison d’etre for the Romney/Ryan campaign, was just about them and their desire for power. No greater sense of what to expect from them, just, you get them and that’s that. That’s good enough for the plebs.

  7. @Lee, someone a while back posted a logo for a company in Europe that is so similar to the Romney logo that it is hard to believe that the Romney campaign didn’t steal it from them.
Myself, I heavily criticize the folks who make logos these days. For the last decade or so, everytime a college releases a new logo (as if that were a groundbreaking event in their history) it seems that the logo is the initials of the college in caps, with the serif marks / serif font, on a contrasting background color.
I’m shocked that this guy sold the space on ebay. (As in are y’all kidding me?). So tht would mean just went to the highest bidder – no consideration of what his politics are?
I certainly hope he got the tattoo in one of the dyes that fade away. That looks like a painful place for the tattoo in the first place and even more painful to burn away with a laser. Plus, one of the things I don’t like about tattoos (my personal like / dislike. I’m not trying to say anythng about what you want to do yourself) is that an originally done, artful, nicely done picture fades and the lines bleed out over time. Would hate to picture that tattoo faded with runny edges.
