Republican national committeeman Dave Agema’s post Wednesday, during U.S. Supreme Court oral arguments on same-sex marriage, was based on an online article titled, “Everyone Should Know These Statistics on Homosexuals,” which appeared under the byline Frank Joseph, M.D.
The post depicts gay people as sexually promiscuous, rife with sexually transmitted diseases and responsible for “half the murders in large cities.” It cites 30-year-old studies for some of its statistics and sources such as the Congressional Record and special-interest groups for others.
Agema of Grandville, a former state lawmaker who was elected to the Republican National Committee in May, responded Wednesday to criticism of the post by saying: “It’s not hate. It’s facts derived from several studies. The trouble is many don’t like facts.”
Yes. The gay serial killer menace, that’s just a fact we don’t like to face. Gangs of marauding gay people, doing things like setting up house together so they can share the freezer space for their human heads.
And let’s grant the ridiculous premise that gay people are full of diseases that are sexually transmitted. So long as you are not sleeping with them, it would then follow that you’re not going to catch those diseases, right? I mean, unless you’re concerned that your anonymous airport glory hole action is going to have actual consequences, in which case, try praying the gay away one more time. I’m sure it’ll work one of these days.
What else is in this pile of crap?
Homosexuals aren’t discriminated against in employment, so why should they be a protected class?
- The average yearly income of a homosexual is $55,430.00 (most of which is disposable because no children to take care of!). The average of the general population is $32,144.00. The average of blacks is $12,166.00
Some gay people are relatively rich, so there is no employment discrimination! Whoo! Bam bam, next case.
Everything else is just as fact-free, most of the “studies” dating back to 1980 or before or attributed to such upstanding organizations as the Family Research Center. I think this is my favorite bit, though:
Any of you, who have children in public schools, it would behoove you to print out the following and mail it to the principal of your child’s school, with a little note stating:
I don’t know if the students at (name of school) are being indoctrinated that homosexuality is just another normal alternative lifestyle. If you have been, then you should print out the following and have it passed out to your students, as the truth must be told in order to preserve their health and avoid cutting off about 15-20 years of their life span.
If the authorities give you a hard time, I would take my child out of that school and put him/her in a private school, and if you cannot afford it, I would homeschool him/her. And you can tell that to the principal.
Or, you can wait until one day, your child comes home and says, “Mom, I think I’m homosexual.”
