I noted in a comment to Adrastos’ post on a similar article that the only thing missing is some high handed snobbery from Sally Quinn and the reanimated corpse of David Broder insisting that “the Obamas trashed the place, and it wasn’t their place… [pause]…braaaaaaaains.”

I also likened Vandehi and Smith to the kind of high school cliques portrayed in movies like Heathers, but that’s really not fair to high school cliques, since most teenagers eventually do grow up.
