Boehner didn’t deny that he initially agreed to a “clean” continuing resolution with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) but said “I and my members decided the threat of Obamacare and what was happening was so important that it was time for us to take a stand. And we took a stand.”
Boehner was also asked if the strategy to spur a shutdown over Obamacare was established by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) against his wishes.
“I thought the fight would be over the debt ceiling,” he said. “But you know, working with my members, they decided, well, let’s do it now. And the fact is, this fight was going to come, one way or the other.”
If we give you a plaque that says “Speaker Boehner and Ted Cruz have the largest penises in Washington in fact they’ve had complaints about how big they are from porn stars real porn stars not like just hookers who take selfies” then can we get on with it? I mean it, can we all get back to work?

“Boehner didn’t deny…” are you insinuating that Boehner would negotiate a deal onlywhen it comes to the vote renege on it?
and they decided “lets do it now…” As opposed to already passing numerous bills to nullify the ACA which had no chance of even coming up for a vote in the Senate, much less be passed by the Senate also and escaping presidential veto? As opposed to ring to link repeal of the ACA to sequestration, etc. etc. etc.
When South Park had the episode on Sarcastaball I thought it was a joke. Who knew that Congess had already been playing sarcasstaball?

Somehow I think it would be on peril of my life if I were to dare list the things that the repubs thought were so important that that they had to take a stand on. Especially as the Tea Bagger and Norquist philosophies are to cut everything to the bone, and even to the level that it guarantees that govt can’t possibly work.
