My parents owned this record. I remember listening to it as a kid. I think I heard this before I heard any recordings of JFK himself, who was still the martyred president when I was young. If I remember, it was only after Nixon resigned that grumbling about Kennedy began in earnest.
My dad bought the Vaughn Meader LP when it was first released. I still have it in my collection.
