Mr. A and I split town for a week, an overdue celebration of our 15th anniversary, and upon our return the beasties were mightily unimpressed:

you came back too soon. pansy cat was always pissed + would snub me after up to a week. then i was gone almost a month + she never ever punished me for going away again. HER LAP WAS BACK!
