Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with the Freeperati – Oh, so-do mi-o edition

Well, guys and gals, now that this is no longer such a big deal, I can tell you about it.

I went in a week ago last Thursday for my annual physical, Mainly to get my BP meds (I’m on the lowest dose they make) and pain pills refilled. They did an EEG. PA looked at the readout, told me that she needed to see the head Doc about it. Came back and told me that I had pretty serious Atrial Fillibration (patent pending), and that I needed to go to the Cardiologist. I replied that my insurance and deductable was going to change in a couple of months, and could it wait that long? She looked at me like I had just stepped out of a UFO and said: “No – I mean you need to go today. Right now.” Ulp.

So I walk the length of Medical City complex (wondering if I should be doing this) and saw the Cardio, who had apparently moved his next appt back to see me. I left with scrips for Beta Blockers, Anti-coagulants, and other fun meds, and an appt for one week later (the quickest they could get approval from my insurance) for a Echcardiogram to look into my alleged heart, and please don’t make any plans for directly afterwards, sir, just in case.

Well – the chambers are normal size, and no huge clots with one-way tickets to my Medulla Obligata detected, so now it’s an anti-arrythmatic to try to get my auricles to stop doing the samba – if that fails, a cardioversion (which I refer to as “a jump start”), which is not such a big thing. So – on balance – I’m one lucky sonofabitch. If you have to have afib, this is the one to have.

All that being said (patience, this is going somewhere), I had intended to take the week off from doing a post, BUT NOOOOO!!!!

This happened:

ARIZONA GOVERNOR VETOES RELIGIOUS FREEDOM BILL

Gov. Jan Brewer on Wednesday vetoed a Republican bill that set off a national debate over gay rights, religion and discrimination and subjected Arizona to blistering criticism from major corporations and political leaders from both parties.

Brewer’s decision defused a national furor over gay rights and religious freedom.

The bill backed by Republicans in the Legislature was designed to give added protection from lawsuits to people who assert their religious beliefs in refusing service to gays. But opponents called it an open attack on gays that invited discrimination.

The bill thrust Arizona into the national spotlight last week after both chambers of the state legislature approved it. As the days passed, more and more groups, politicians and average citizens weighed in against Senate Bill 1062. Many took to social media to criticize the bill, calling it an attack on gay and lesbian rights.

RINO HOMOSEXUALIST.

Time to boycott Arizona.

(Arizona muses) Let’s see – should we worry about the NFL dropping us, or a Mark O’Malley mancott? ( boycotts are for homosexualist RINOs) Hmmm…

Leviticus also tells you that seeking revenge or bearing a grudge (19:18) is a one-way ticket to hell.

Perversion will always be perversion. Changing attitudes cannot change nature…and reality.
NotSureIfSarcasticOrStupid

Sorry if your kid (I mean that rhetorically) is a sodomite…but that is still perverted.

This is a not new issue (or a progressive issue)…it has been around forever…and the sodomites always lose.

Except this time. And the time before that. And the times before that.

And why do they lose? Because it is a perversion of nature.
