But it doesn’t hurt. No, really: Show Me State wingers are holding impeachment hearings against Democratic Governor Jay Nixon, with one charge being he apparently thinks “certified crazy” is sufficient grounds to deny the “right” to pack concealed heat.

OK, maybe it’s just me but…wow…that’s bugfuck insane.

  2. I live in Missouri. “Bugfuck insane” gets you elected to the state legislature if you put an “R” after your name.

  4. Live in rural MO. Happens to be an obviously gerrymandered district that is very thin and very long obviously to make the district solidly repub without them libruls in the cities. Couldn’t agree more to Sandman.
    What matters is that you go back to your district and tell them you gave the dems hell. It doesn’t matter if you were unsuccessful. It doesn’t matter if the courts are going to overturn you. In fact, the big news are repeated attempts at nullification with the latest being a bill that says if you are a Fed Agent enforcing gun laws, you can’t become a state / local lawman in MO.
