Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with the Freeperati – special Trumpcare edition

Oh deary deary deary dear. I was watching the Trumpcare falboat set sail Friday afternoon, and idly wondered how it was playing in the land of the Freep.

Wonder no more.

Conservative Republicans are Today’s Biggest Losers

The Republican effort to repeal and replace Obamacare—the American Health Care Act—finally came up for a final vote in the House. First put forward by Speaker Paul Ryan in 2009, it offered few surprises to Republicans. And the effort itself was very familiar, as Republicans had voted over 60 times to repeal Obamacare since its passage eight years ago. Yet, when the time came to exercise the prerogative of the majority and finally repeal and replace President Obama’s deeply flawed social program, Republicans came up short.

Over the past two weeks, moderate Republicans argued that they could not vote for a plan that did not keep certain fail-safe protections for the elderly in place. Conservative Republicans—many in the so-called “Freedom Caucus”—complained that Ryan’s plan kept popular portions of Obamacare on the books. They wanted a complete repeal, and many would accept nothing less. In the end, no-one got their wish. As Speaker Ryan admitted this afternoon, “we are going to be living with Obamacare for the foreseeable future.” This, in part, because the Trump Administration refuses to have its agenda held hostage. It is sidelining healthcare and moving forward with tax reform.

Democrats are celebrating Republican missteps. And the collective finger-pointing within the Republican establishment has already begun in earnest. An early contender for sacrificial lamb is Speaker Ryan.

What a coincidence – I’m happy for you to lose every day. See? We can agree on some things.

Conservatives avoided having the collapsing socialized medicine fiasco rebranded as a Republican product.

More Winning.

You’re completely full of shit!

At least I thought it was…

RyanCare did NOT bring back the medical system BEFORE obamacare.

We are not stupid.

The jury’s still out on that one…

Stupid people did not elect President Trump.

That’s right.

A WHOLE BUNCH of stupid people elected him.

We know when people like Ryan are lying, and he’s ALWAYS been a liar and a fucking weasel!

The Conservative Cause are HEROS for standing up to Paul Ryan, a stance that allowed time for millions of us to raise our voices and ultimately convince WAY more Congressmen to oppose this than just the Conservative Caucus.

So, Neub,

noobs

I STRONGLY suggest you go pimp your pathetic piece of shit blog at a more appropriate site, like therightscoop.com, where they’ll lap your bullshit up like it was chocolate sauce!

Oops – ever mind.
And I’ve got a mind to report you to Blog Pimps Local Union chapter 52. I’m a member in good standing.
More rending of garments and pretending that it’s a fashion statement, after the jump.

Were were we?  Oh yes.

Are you serious? I was about to get off my expensive health insurance with coverages I do not need, but Obamacare forces me to buy. Now thanks to the holdouts, I am forced to retain my current insurance. I hate the mandate and this Ryan bill would have at least freed me from the mandate.

Hey, cheer up. All you have to do is pay a small penalty and drop your coverage.
Then you can start saving up for that chemotherapy.
So – how’s that traitorous dog Paul Ryan going to fix this fuck of clusters?

RUMORS: If RyanCare fails, Trey Gowdy may replace Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House   northcrane.com ^ | 3/24/17 Posted on 3/24/2017, 5:15:43 PM by cotton1706

With the likely failure of RyanCare on the horizon, the landscape of the Republican party may drastically restructure itself.

Ryans heathcare bill was supposed to be a full repeal and replacement of ObamaCare, but many conservatives have abandoned Ryan’s bill, citing it keeps many of President Obama’s policies intact.

As a result, President Trump modestly went to Capitol Hill and urged congress and threatened their chances of reelection if they fail to launch.

Paul Ryan barely received an endorsement from Donald Trump given Ryan’s stigma of being a Republican In Name Only.

Enter Trey Gowdy, the man who publicly lambasted Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, and James Comey.

“Paul Ryan barely received an endorsement from Donald Trump”

Pure nonsense. Trump was all in on this. The Freedom Caucus helped Nancy Pelosi and gave Trump a defeat on his first major policy initiative. That’s why his first remark was “I learned a lot about loyalty”. That wasn’t directed at Ryan.

I think they’re all a bit confused on whether the Freedumb Caucus is a good thing or a bad thing.
I can’t imagine what’s keeping the sexually charged projection insults.

Gowdy’s just another cuck squish, but he’s better than Deep State Ryan.

I will be in the minority but I say no.
I was impressed with Gowdy in the beginning..but he is all bark for sound bytes

What did he really accomplish in all of those hearings?

Well, he did manage to turn a tragedy into a punchline, so there’s that.

I like Jim Jordan

Gowdy’s all talk.

Everything he does gets talked up like something is going to happen—-and nothing ever does.

Duh.

He’s in the club.

Did you see the way he stood on Stefanik the other day when she stumbled too close to catching Comey in a lie?

Trump: Ryan should remain Speaker even if healthcare vote fails The Hill ^ | March 24, 2017 | Jordan Fabian Posted on 3/24/2017, 3:48:31 PM by EveningStar

President Trump said Friday that Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) should remain Speaker even if the afternoon vote on the GOP healthcare plan fails.

“Yes,” he said when asked whether Ryan should keep his job.

I remember feeling like this when the “Governator” let conservatives down in CA. Why, oh why, would Trump support Ryan at this point?

The quote is from earlier this morning… Trump wasn’t going to throw Ryan under the bus when a vote was about to occur, it would have been ridiculous to do so publicly.

Now that Ryan’s gambit has utterly failed, all that changes.

Nope, President Trump continued to praise Speaker Ryan.

Ok folks, we have our work cut out for us

You DO realize Paul Ryan ain’t going anywhere, right? AND, even on the off chance he was, he would just be replaced by someone who will indeed fall inline with the elites once elected, just like Trump has done.

TRUMP!! THAT FUCKING SELLOUT!!!1!!!

The ballot box no longer works. The process no longer works. It is rigged in the elites favor, regardless of what we do. To think otherwise is to be delusional.

Wait for it….

And now, his sig line!

  1. In the spirit of “giving” and “helpfulness”, I’d like to offer our GOP/Freeper/Trumpistas a copy of the tried-and-true Dem Circular Firing Squad: A how-to manual.

Yes, most of the copies that are out there are well-thumbed and a bit dog-eared, but the still usable.

But, fuck! (one for the quota, yes) Sounds like they already scored a copy. On Etsy, perhaps?
