Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with the Freeperati – ” ’tis the treason ” edition

Well, that’s just great.

I’m sound asleep in a NyQuil-induced coma, and suddenly there’s a huge BANG!

Once I make sure that an airplane didn’t hit the house, I go running down to the ISO chamber, and the damned airlock door is hanging by one hinge. What the hell could have happened in Freeperville???

Oh.

Trump Tower meeting with Russians ‘treasonous’, Bannon says in explosive book

Donald Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon has described the Trump Tower meeting between the president’s son and a group of Russians during the 2016 election campaign as “treasonous” and “unpatriotic”, according to an explosive new book seen by the Guardian…

..He is particularly scathing about a June 2016 meeting involving Trump’s son Donald Jr, son-in-law Jared Kushner, then campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower in New York. A trusted intermediary had promised documents that would “incriminate” rival Hillary Clinton but instead of alerting the FBI to a potential assault on American democracy by a foreign power, Trump Jr replied in an email: “I love it.”

The meeting was revealed by the New York Times in July last year, prompting Trump Jr to say no consequential material was produced. Soon after, Wolff writes, Bannon remarked mockingly: “The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers.

“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad sh- t, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”

(…)

“You realise where this is going,” he is quoted as saying. “This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose [senior prosecutor Andrew] Weissmann first and he is a money-laundering guy. Their path to f–ing Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr and Jared Kushner … It’s as plain as a hair on your face.”

*********************

I was originally thinking this was FAKE NEWS but there’s a lot of quotes from Bannon in this article and presumably, in the book which is supposed to come out next week. I knew that Bannon was feuding with Javanka in the White House but it seems like he’d rather settle scores than help move the Conservative agenda.

Looks like Bannon has turned on Trump for whatever reason.
I’m guessing he is still licking his wounds from Alabama election.

I told you assholes not to ever use that disgusting metaphor again.

Good thing Bannon’s not bitter because he was thrown out after helping Trump get elected.

Helping The Darnold get elected? Trump now says he never even met Bannon.

Bannon seems insane.

As compared to WHO, exactly? Trump? That’s setting the sociopath bar pretty low.

I wonder what he thinks of the fake Russian dossier.

Not sure what to make of this blow-up but if DJT doesn’t fire off some angry tweets in Bannon’s direction I bet this is some sort of agreed upon coordinated effort.

2. The ever-popular “fake news”:

***WARNING***

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets like THE GUARDIAN, that proved themselves to be intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.

Why don’t we follow Trump’s lead here on FR? Let’s limit posting headlines from these wretched Lying Leftist outlets.

What will that leave you with? Posting articles from Dead Breitbart?  Heh. Got news for ya, Charlie…

It’s okay, like Trump, to read this stuff, so you know what they’re up to – just don’t post using these Lying Leftist outlets as the source which is a form of promoting their lies. Do like Trump – post the truth about the issue using a reasonably reliable source or yourself as the source. That’s how to EXPOSE the lies without promoting them.

Otherwise, OK?
To: Incorrigible

I am wondering if Bannon isn’t simply tweeting the media to sell some books.

He didn’t write the book, you fucking imbecile.

To: Fantasywriter

Yes, I have seen no denials from Bannon. Just as the tide was turning in favor of Trump,

“tide was turning in the favor of Trump”?

.

Have you seen his polls? Any of them?

TrumpPolls

this kook has to run his mouth with wild charges about the people who helped him. Just like promoting Roy Moore over Mo Brooks for the Alabama Republican Senate nomination, a total disaster engineered by Bannon.

This is an INCREDIBLY stupid move by Trump. The one thing Trump cannot afford to do is alienate his base. And I can’t think of anything more surely guaranteed to alienate his base than dumping Bannon.

Holy cow Steve. Zip your lips.

I am a Steve Bannon supporter. He was major in getting Trump elected but…zip it! The USA does not have time for another Trump saboteur.

Frankly, in the end – the only one sabotaging Trump –

is Trump.

The scurrilous libs will pick up on every negative statement from Steve Bannon. He is going to be their tool and fool?

  1. You are STILL taking heat over not liking bad poetry read to a machine drum? You have my sympathies and general agreement. Most pop music is garbage, and rap is no exception. When Rap is good, it can be amazing, but most of it is just broken rhymes with grotesquely macho themes paced to a tired beat.

One minor Freeper miracle you didn’t mention; this book and the associated threads drew a remarkable number of the reclusive and critically endangered Freepus Nevertrumpus from hiding. As in olden times the cries of “Zott the traitors!” rang out, and confused lists of first year achievements (uh, Gorsuch,… hey, do taxes count since that was Congress?) were posted as proof that the administration is a well-oiled greasy thing, and there was the usual personal invective. But thanks to the passage of the Endangered Freeper Act of 2012, enacted to protect the accounts of users contributing to JimRob’s bottom line, this tiny remnant of a once proud and diverse species holds out. A lucky visitor to the site, if they proceed carefully, can still hear their lonely mating cry of “Cruuuuuuuuzzzzzz…. twentytwenty” echoing from the deepest rabbit holes and dankest memes.

    Feel better and merry 2018.
