I’m not sure if I’m going to be up to writing today. We’re going to the vet and making arrangements for Della’s remains this morning as well as dealing with a few loose ends.
I’d like to thank everyone for the kind wishes about Della Street here, on Facebook, and Twitter. I’m a bit overwhelmed but Della would consider it her due. She’d be right.

Sorry to hear about Della Street.
It’s a shame what happened to Sly Stone and the group but to an amazing degree that has rarely been recognized their demise was caused by the same thing which destroyed the hopes of the 60’s and it goes far beyond music. Cocaine was the destroyer. Cocaine ripped the soul out of our elites who instead pursued money. fueled by cokes mandate to the brain to embrace ego and id. That’s it. That’s the entire story as far as I am concerned.
When the history of the age is written, if it is written, I doubt that cocaine will even get a mention.
I agree. It’s why Sylvester Stewart is now living in a van. It all went up his nose. Cocaine is nasty shit.
