Hoyt Axton retired to southern Oregon, and I kept company with a young woman from the area. Her family played holiday host to “Uncle Hoyt” on a few occasions before we got together. She said Axton was just like you see him: A mellow guy with a lovely voice and an easygoing nature. Moar Hoyt Axtons, please.
