— Gov. Rick Perry is asking FEMA to issue an emergency declaration for 199 Texas counties dealing with wildfire threats.
A
FEMA declaration would provide federal assets and firefighting
resources to assist in battling the blazes that have burned more than
100,000 acres since Thursday.
