I usually despise re-makes; especially when the original film was a good ‘un. There are, of course, exceptions to every rule andInvasion Of The Body Snatchers is mine. I *love* both versions and may even givePhilip Kaufman’s 1978 version a slight edge overDon Siegel’s 1956 original, which is almost unprecedented for me.
