Sometimes knowing that you’re going to lose an election can be liberating.That seems to be the case for Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd who gave a passionate and well reasoned argument against religious bigotry, and in favor of marriage equality that included a reference to the US Civil War and slavery.
