I try my best not to take the news personally. That’s been impossible this week after I realized that the most analogous event in American history to pipe bomb mania was the Lincoln-Seward conspiracy. Then, the MAGA Bombers enemies list grew to 12 with the addition of Corey Booker and James Clapper this morning. It was all too much to take.
I started a post called New Dark Ages that was so gloomy that I trashed it. Immediately thereafter, I learned that a suspected MAGA Bomber has been arrested in Florida. His name is Cesar Sayoc and he’s not only imbibed the Trumper Kool-Aid, he’s mainlined it. He seems to be a true believer, which means that he’s swallowed all of Trump’s lies whole. Talk about indigestible.

If he gets in a fender bender or gets keyed, he obviously just sticks a bumper sticker on it.
Big thanks to law enforcement for breaking this case so quickly. Here’s hoping the MAGA Bomber is a lone nutter as opposed to part of a broader conspiracy. It’s also a relief that he was so inept. It’s proof positive that he’s a hardcore Trumper.
