The Kaiser of Chaos has deputized Chancellor Elon Musk to hack into vital government computer systems. It’s a way for Trump to realize Russell Vought’s Project 2025 wet dreams with a fall guy handy. Elon is too arrogant to get that, but his comeuppance may be coming because of his attack on Social Security.
Right-wing Republican politicians, billionaires, and think tank pukes are the only ones who hate Social Security. They opposed it from the beginning but every attempt to gut it has met with fierce resistance and ultimate failure.
The Kaiser and his Chancellor should heed the words of General President Eisenhower in 1954:
Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things. Among them are H. L. Hunt (you possibly know his background), a few other Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid.”
Presumably, they know who Ike was. I suspect that the sieg heiling Musk does not like Ike because he whipped the Nazis before becoming president. Trump may know that Ike was an avid golfer. Unlike the Insult Comedian, however, Ike didn’t cheat.

There’s a great book out there that Trump and Musk are unlikely to peruse let alone use. I give you the Merriam-Webster Dictionary’s definition of Third Rail:
1: a metal rail through which electric current is led to the motors of an electric vehicle (such as a subway car)
2: a controversial issue usually avoided by politicians”
In 2005, after narrowly defeating John Kerry, then President George W. Bush attempted to privatize Social Security. It failed miserably because of public backlash. Along with the Iraq War and Katrina, this failure was why Democrats look control Congress in 2006.
In 2025, after narrowly defeating Kamala Harris, President Pennywise is lying about his attack on Social Security. He’s letting Musk do his dirty work for him. A reminder that Trump is a bully with a track record of folding when under sustained attack. This unlovable man wants to be loved because he was starved of parental love as a child.
This is an issue on which Democrats and all decent Americans should take a stand. The Social Security system is a sacred pact between the government and the American people. The original genius of the system is that FDR and Frances Perkins had citizens pay into Social Security via payroll taxes. We’ve all paid into the system and expect it to be there when needed.
