Right, see, if she’s this dumb whore, then she has no right to legal medical procedures. If she’s a nice girl, who was “honest”ly raped (by which I am sure DOCTOR Paul means she was as sober as a judge and wore nothing provocative) through no fault of her own, then sure, it’s fine, give her Plan B.
But if she’s just too stupid to not get herself raped right, and goes around all “la la la, I’ll ignore my pregnancy because tha’ts something WE ALL TOTALLY DO, la la la” then she ought to bear that child for society.
I don’t know what’s more offensive, the idea that there’s this conspiracy of fake rape out there on the part of evil bitches who just want to abort their children, or the idea that the majority of women who are pregnant as a result of rape all just put it out of their heads until they get the silly notion to have themselves a quick and easy abortion.
For all that movement anti-abortion people like to hold up pictures of bloody, violent body parts at intersections, they don’t really seem to understand the reality of what that procedure does to a woman’s body. What an abortion at 28 weeks would look like, feel like, leave behind. The idea that it would somehow be taken lightly, the idea that somebody would do that out of anything but medical necessity or desperation, is such an condescending assault on reason that it makes my vision go white.
They really do think women are children: flighty, silly, unable to take responsibility for their actions, unable to know their own physical and mental limitations, so unaware of their own bodies and what happens inside them. They really do think that given the option, women would just do this at random. That they’d take those risks as if they were nothing. That they’d look at their bodies, turned enemy, and be able to go on about their days without thinking about it. That they’d be that stupid. That they’d be like that at all.
