Dinesh D’Souza resigned as president of The King’s College after a
magazine story revealed that he was engaged to another woman while still
married to his wife of 20 years. The Board of Trustees of The King’s
College, a Christian institution based in New York, accepted his
resignation Thursday.

YES! Because Dinesh was uncovering the dirt on the Obamalamadingdong when Obama reached out with his psychic powers and took over the mind of both Tony Beam and Alex McFarland and force them to tell on the no-tell motel escapades. And then for an encore, the Obamatron 2000 took over Din’t-ask’s own mind and made him file for divorce that very day! Mercy!

I think Christian conservative leaders do more harm to
Christianity when they get caught in these sexual escapades than all the
trash liberals and atheists throw at it combined.

Forget Obama, Dinesh was one of the leading Christian apologists in
the country defending Christianity(anywhere, anytime), as well as
objective morality, and now he is just another hypocrite who got caught
with his pants down and has not only humiliated himself but has made
Christian conservatism a national laughingstock, again.

An honorable man doesn’t make it his business to point out the moral
shortcomings of others while banging some woman who was nine years old
when said man married his current wife
. It’s also pretty clear he didn’t
just resign – he was no doubt told to, lest the college rightfully
pressure him to return the 7 figure salary he collected while spending
his time attending to his own personal business rather than the
school’s. Not only is he an adulterer, his love interest is one as well,
and she’s been married all of 10 months.
The man disgusts me – just
another charlatan fleecing the flock while completely ignoring the
message that he touts.

Someone early in this thread stated that Christian leaders do more
harm by getting caught in this kind of “affair” than all their enemies
combined.

I’d paraphrase that to Many Christian hardliners do more harm by showing their unchristian selves when another Christian is accused.

That would fit alongside Many
Christian hardliners do more harm by throwing rocks at allies they
don’t consider to be suitably chaste or capable of reciting psalms.

Then there is Those same hardliners are all too often practicing other than they preach.

Let’s summarize:
Separated for two years at wife’s determination.
Meets a very attractive alternative after 20 or so months separation and shortly thereafter initiates divorce proceedings.

Romney mocked for comment about jet windows

During a Saturday fundraiser in Beverly Hills, Calif., which took in
$6 million, Mitt Romney expressed his concerns over Ann Romney’s
emergency landing on Friday. The candidate cast doubt on the mechanical
design of airplane windows, in a general sense.

“When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go,
exactly, there’s no — and you can’t find any oxygen from outside the
aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. I don’t
know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very
dangerous…” he said.

George W. Bush will give a speech on investing in the Cayman Islands right before the election

Death and Taxes ^

Former president George W. Bush isn’t exactly doing Mitt Romney any
favors on the messaging front. As the current face of the Republican
party, Mitt’s single biggest challenge has been distancing himself from
his image as a business tycoon who got rich by outsourcing American jobs
and then keeping big chunks of his fortune in Swiss bank accounts and
invested in the Cayman Islands.

On election week, George W. will rub the sketchy Cayman Islands playboy image right in Mitt’s face.

BuzzFeed
points out that W. will give the keynote address to the Cayman Islands
Alternative Investment Summit, which goes down on Grand Cayman Island
November 1-2, less than a week before the presidential election. The
other keynote speaker will be the UK’s most famous billionaire playboy,
Virgin’s Richard Branson, who owns his very own island not so far from
Grand Cayman.

The Summit’s site says the event “will bring
together the world’s leading institutional investors, fund managers,
academics, economists and regulators in the Cayman Islands—the world’s
leading domicile for investment funds—to discuss and debate the
fundamentals of a vibrant future for the alternative investments
industry.”

To most Americans, this is a pretty simple equation: “Cayman Islands” + “alternative investments” = “sketchy.”

George
W’s Cayman keynote is just the latest in a long string of reminders
about Romney’s ultra-rich status and possibly sketchy behavior— and he’s
not getting a lot of help from the people around him.

Just last
week former GOP candidate Tim Pawlenty left Rommey’s campaign in a
high-profile departure to become a lobbyist for the banking industry,
and promptly said that banks should just be allowed to regulate
themselves. Last week Romney released his 2011 tax returns which showed
him paying a 14% tax rate, and if the hackers who claim to have stolen
his earlier records weren’t bluffing and haven’t been paid a ransom,
they may release even more of Romney’s returns tomorrow.

Accidental
or not, somehow the messaging around Mitt’s millions seem to be the
most consistent the GOP is able to construct around Romney.

Bush flooded the country with millions of illegals,

he gives speeches investing in the Cayman Islands.

Paul Ryan Says He’s Now Okay With Gays in the Military

(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, the Republican
vice-presidential nominee, told a West Palm Beach, Fla., television
station over the weekend that he is now okay with homosexuals in the
military and does not want to reverse the repeal of the Don’t Ask Don’t
Tell policy.

“I talked to a lot of good friends of mine who are
combat leaders in the theater, and they just didn’t think the timing of
this was right to do this when our troops were in the middle of harm’s
way in combat,” Ryan told WPTV Saturday, when asked about the one-year
anniversary of the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.

told WPTV Saturday, when asked about the one-year anniversary of the
repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.

“Now that it’s done, we should
not reverse it. I think that would be a step in the wrong direction
because people have already disclosed themselves.”

“I think this issue is past us,” he added. “It’s done. And I think we need to move on.”

This is pandering to some mythical ‘middle-of-the-road’ voter, who they
think will carry them over the top. The price of pandering to that
segment of the population, is betraying the trust of the majority of
those who will vote for them.

And once they’re in office, who will they answer to? We, the majority? I hardly think so.
