Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with the Freeperati – Oh, so-do mi-o edition
hobbular
Well, guys and gals, now that this is no longer such a big deal, I can tell you about it.
I went in a week ago last Thursday for my annual physical, Mainly to get my BP meds (I’m on the lowest dose they make) and pain pills refilled. They did an EEG. PA looked at the readout, told me that she needed to see the head Doc about it. Came back and told me that I had pretty serious Atrial Fillibration (patent pending), and that I needed to go to the Cardiologist. I replied that my insurance and deductable was going to change in a couple of months, and could it wait that long? She looked at me like I had just stepped out of a UFO and said: “No – I mean you need to go today. Right now.” Ulp.
So I walk the length of Medical City complex (wondering if I should be doing this) and saw the Cardio, who had apparently moved his next appt back to see me. I left with scrips for Beta Blockers, Anti-coagulants, and other fun meds, and an appt for one week later (the quickest they could get approval from my insurance) for a Echcardiogram to look into my alleged heart, and please don’t make any plans for directly afterwards, sir, just in case.
Well – the chambers are normal size, and no huge clots with one-way tickets to my Medulla Obligata detected, so now it’s an anti-arrythmatic to try to get my auricles to stop doing the samba – if that fails, a cardioversion (which I refer to as “a jump start”), which is not such a big thing. So – on balance – I’m one lucky sonofabitch. If you have to have afib, this is the one to have.
All that being said (patience, this is going somewhere), I had intended to take the week off from doing a post, BUT NOOOOO!!!!

Gov. Jan Brewer on Wednesday vetoed a Republican bill that set off a national debate over gay rights, religion and discrimination and subjected Arizona to blistering criticism from major corporations and political leaders from both parties.
Brewer’s decision defused a national furor over gay rights and religious freedom.
The bill backed by Republicans in the Legislature was designed to give added protection from lawsuits to people who assert their religious beliefs in refusing service to gays. But opponents called it an open attack on gays that invited discrimination.
The bill thrust Arizona into the national spotlight last week after both chambers of the state legislature approved it. As the days passed, more and more groups, politicians and average citizens weighed in against Senate Bill 1062. Many took to social media to criticize the bill, calling it an attack on gay and lesbian rights.
RINO HOMOSEXUALIST.
Time to boycott Arizona.

(Arizona muses) Let’s see – should we worry about the NFL dropping us, or a Mark O’Malley mancott? ( boycotts are for homosexualist RINOs) Hmmm…

Jan Brewer will go down as a spineless homosexual ganglia. What a joke she was. They will not TRUMP GOD.

Leviticus also tells you that seeking revenge or bearing a grudge (19:18) is a one-way ticket to hell.

Perversion will always be perversion. Changing attitudes cannot change nature…and reality.
Sorry if your kid (I mean that rhetorically) is a sodomite…but that is still perverted.
This is a not new issue (or a progressive issue)…it has been around forever…and the sodomites always lose.
Except this time. And the time before that. And the times before that.
And why do they lose? Because it is a perversion of nature.

All media outlets allowed it to be labeled “the anti-gay bill”.
It really was an anti-religious discrimination bill.
Jan Brewer has just said its ok to sue committed believers in Arizona.

“Leviticus tells us what to do in the face of abomination.”
I am as sick as anyone hearing about homosexuality 24/7, but Leviticus is not measurement of anything but the primitive tribal mentality of 5000 years ago. It also instructs unruly children to be killed among other atrocious things, so selective reading and application is hypocritical. If you fully apply Leviticus, you will have a nice cozy Talibanland that would make Mullah Omar proud.

All you little people must make cakes for homosexuals, or else you will be shipped to the concentration camp… where you will make cakes for homosexuals.

Well, it looks like those evil, vile satanists on the left bullied and intimidated their way into successfully leaving the door wide open to further suppress the First Amendment rights and religious freedoms of Arizona business owners. The American left and the militant homo-nazis
are degenerating into nothing but a bunch of home-grown domestic terrorists.
Anywhoo, I interrupt this post to bring you a screed from this True Amurrican, and I’ll leave it as an excersize for the reader to figure out the motivations of this alleged domestoc terrorist:
Any chance the Arizona Legislature will over-ride her veto?

My impression is that it requires a 2/3 majority in both houses. If so, then it’s not likely.

As much as I’ve had enough of the gay movement, I have to agree with the governor. These real life situations would all be protected if the governor signed the bill into law.
1) Muslim store owner tells a customer with an aide dog to leave the store.
2) Muslim taxi driver refuses a fare carrying a bottle of wine to a party
3) Muslim waiter refuses to serve a woman wearing a low cut top
4) Target checkout clerk refuses to ring up your bacon purchase
5) Muslim hotel clerk refuses a room to an unmarried couple.

We are getting creamed.
The Texas overturning is worse
At least someone with standing may appeal
We have utterly collapsed overnight metaphorically
Well I bet you most of the RINO’s insisting on Veto have a family member they ENABLE in their destructive lifestyle and think all others should as well.
It’s anyones right to refuse service when it violates ones moral conscience. Who do we obey GOD or Extorting Marxist?
I’m kinda leaning towards Extorting Marxist at this point. Talk me out of it.
If someone ones doesn’t want to bake the Homo’s(sic) a cake then the Homo’s(sic) should go elsewhere. Let the market sort it out not our Marxist government.
Also, we should be able to buy and sell Negro slaves if we want to. Let the market sort it out.
This is government sanctioned Extortion. Serve Homo’s(sic)
against your conscience or else you loose(sic) your business and all you have worked for? Such politicians are Tyrants and Thugs.
The Radical Looking for a fight Homosexuals are fixing to force this into a situation where people start giving retribution to them. Maybe that’s what the perverts want perhaps?
The trouble with that, dumbfuck, is that when you open the door to “retribution”, sometimes a lot more of it comes through the door than you expected. And sometimes it comes for you.
No one owes another person acceptance of their sexual perversions nor enabling thereof.

I’m sorry, people who put apostrophes in “homos” and can’t spell “lose” don’t get to use the word “thereof”.
It implies literacy, and you obviously don’t qualify.

Apparently, amongst the small gay circle in Chicago, it was a well known fact that zer0 attended gay bath houses there when he was a nobody. Just saying…

This is ridiculous. This is involuntary servitude. A business should be able to refuse to provide a good or service based on any grounds. There are plenty of other businesses who will fill the void.

As usual, Satan’s acolytes in the state-controlled media report outrage only when it’s coming from one of their radical left-wing protected class groups.
So when can I walk into my local halal butcher and order my Easter ham, with my attorney on speed-dial for when they refuse?
175 posted on 2/26/2014 10:39:14 PM by denydenydeny (Admiration of absolute government is proportionate to the contempt one has for others.-Tocqueville)
You can walk into that shop and order a ham, or a car – if they don’t have one, they can’t sell it to you.
The point is that they can’t refuse to sell you anything they do have, just because you’re not a Muslim.
Got it?

Alright, Freepers – MAN UP! (in a completely heterosexual fashion, of course)
Quit crying in your philosphical beer and DO SOMETHING!
You need an Action Plan, not a sullen whingefest!
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO???

Also, a wedding cake baked by a person who doesn’t believe in gay marriage (and that is not always a religious person) can contain nasty things that no one will know about – even after they’ve consumed it. Which is why I don’t understand why anyone would order food from someone who doesn’t like them.

That’s your master plan?
To put Ex-Lax in gay couples’ wedding cakes?
That’s IT?
You deserve to lose.
Thanks, everyone, for making it to the end of this too-long Obsession.
