Even though CNN’s phony controversy hasn’t even been able to pick up traction at MSNBC, that hasn’t stopped the left-wing cable news network from attempting to manufacture more trouble for Phil Robertson and “Duck Dynasty.” But why would we expect anything less from the same network that fabricated evidence to frame a working-class Hispanic man?
The CNN report below, covering Robertson’s humorous relaying of marriage advice, is taken ultra-seriously by the CNN correspondent, and asks, “What is the tipping point to getting kicked off the air?”
(VIDEO-AT-LINK)
Does CNN not hear the crowd laughing? It is obvious that Robertson is going for laughs. That doesn’t mean he isn’t trying to make a point (his wife was 16 when they married) but there is no question he is performing and exaggerating to entertain a crowd that is entertained.
Good heavens, it is so controversial that a happily married and successful man would suggest others follow his same path!
Glaringly missing from that CNN report is Robertson adding “Check with Mom and Dad about that, of course.” “That” being marrying as a teenager.
Another fact CNN leaves out of its hit-piece is that with parental permission, in more than ten states, teenagers as young as 15 can marry.
In the media capitol of the world, New York, teenagers as young as 14 can marry.
In the state of Georgia, where CNN is headquartered, teenagers can marry at 16…

CNN has a politcal and socila agenda that has nothing to do with reporting news. They run a relentless daily attack on Conservatives, Christians, Americans.

The commies
See?
in the state controlled “media” don’t give a hoot about the fags or 15 year old girls.
What about 15 year old girl fags?
They are after the Robertson family because of the family’s strong belief in G-d
G-d is going to send you to hell for fucking up his name.
and love of traditional American values.
Like marrying off 16-year-olds (caution – may not be a family value in states where marrying your cousin is legal)
PERIOD!

Maybe the problem is the bolded word – teenagers. For us it means someone who is not quite an adult. To them it is also a code word for blacks.
Replace the word ‘teenager’ with the word ‘black’ and they would be thoroughly scandalized.
Replace the word “teenager” with the word “daughter”, and they would be all upset and shit. Well, maybe not.
Add 40 points to their IQ and they might recognize the use of the term ‘teenager’ in the ordinary sense.
Okay, okay. Add 60 points.

Add 100 points to yours, and you might be able to feed yourself without help.

I tend to agree. I think that this situation could get increasingly embarrassing, and we might be best off quietly backing off from it rather than making huge fools of ourselves. I’m not saying to throw him under the bus( I hate that expression but it fits here) but just quietly back off from the whole thing. I began to get concerned before his marriage remarks— I began to get concerned when I heard about his race comments. Meanwhile, there’s a lesson here—don’t get in a really big hurry to take sides in this stuff if you haven’t given it some thought and may need to know more.

” Most blacks are seldom marrying.
Most teabaggers are seldom firing neurons in sequence.
They simply procreate to live off the US taxpayers.

A 43-year-old father was shot dead by a retired cop in a Florida cinema after a row about him texting his three-year-old daughter as they waited for the movie to start, witnesses said.
Chad Oulson was shot in front of his wife and horrified movie-goers during an argument with 71-year-old Curtis Reeves.
The victim’s wife, Nicole, was injured in the shooting after holding her hands out to try to shield Mr Oulson during the confrontation at a movie theater near Tampa on Monday.
After Reeves fired at his chest the victim was heard saying: ‘I can’t believe I got shot’, according to Fox News.
Reeves, who is facing life in prison if found guilty, has been charged with second-degree murder. During a hearing on Tuesday he appeared via video link, wearing a green suicide smock – a fire resistant outfit that can’t be torn or turned into a noose.
The judge ruled he should be held without bond because of the severity of the charges, but the no bond ruling can’t be confirmed until a live hearing with Reeves.
Apparently this guy didn’t like people texting in the movie theater, even before the movie started. The penalty for noncompliance with demands to cease being death.
Of course, by federal law, retired law enforcement officer who meet certain conditions are permitted to concealed carry. It’s just ordinary citizens who can be restricted from doing so in order to protect the public. I wonder who protects the public from retired LEO’s?

In a just world, he’d be hung from the neck until dead in front of the county courthouse.

So far it sounds like a clean self-defense shooting. The other man threw something at the ex-cop, he felt that he was in danger and shot the man.
I’m not sure how this couldn’t be self-defense, but I’m sure they’ll crucify him.

I take the cops side in this. All the guy had to do was shut off his damn cellphone. He got increasingly belligerent and the ex-cop obviously felt threatened.
I’m sick and tired of belligerent bullies. Mean people suck. Don’t be an ass, you never know who you’re dealing with and what they have on them.

If you start shooting in a theater with your eyes closed, try explaining that to a jury & judge just before you are sent to jail for shooting an innocent bystander. They will laugh you right out of the court & into a jail cell. And that house, car, GUNS, & saving account you HAD will go to YOUR victim(s), their families, & their lawyers.
Furthermore, if you start shooting in a theater, other armed audience members are then fully justified in riddling your body with numerous holes. As the first shooter, YOU are the bad guy. That pretty much negates the popcorn defense, permanently, as a jury will never hear it.
Nobody in their right mind would start shooting in a theater unless there was no other option. The retired cop had numerous other options as I have previously outlined. I suspect a psych exam will show mental illness. Mental illness is common to these kinds of shootings.

Actually, my repugnance to the “everybody should be armed so they can all start shooting each other whenever they hear a sound that resembles a gunshot” argument may be unfounded,
Darwin might approve.
And the coroners will get some overtime trying to figure out “who shot whom, and in what order?”

I keep seeing on my facebook feed that apparently us conservatives are protesting coca cola or something? Is that some sort of reflection from liberals that they just assume we all had a conniption over it? I haven’t seen anybody even discuss or show anger on it on freerepublic or conservative blogs. I highly doubt Rush Limbaugh has even mentioned it.
I honestly think they are making up the controversy because where is our outrage? I think this is how they view us to be racists and narrow minded and just assumed we would be angry about some ad

Yes, the commercial was disturbing – and the fact you are asking the question means you just don’t “get it”.
