Good morning, everyone.
14 years! Damn.
In the early 2000s I got hooked on First Draft founder and blogmistress Athenae’s “Obsession with the Freeperati” posts. I would occasionally venture into the pit of stupidity myself, and find dumb shit she hadn’t mentioned. So – I would occasionally send her emails with links to the things I thought she would enjoy. Then, on August 1st of 2008 I got this :

I was gobsmacked, and quickly accepted. Athenae gave me the keys to the kingdom, assured me that I could say “fuck”, and I was off to the races.
And now, 14 years later, it’s time to call it a day. Besides, I doubt I’ll ever top this 5.4K hits day :
All good things must come to an end, and this has been a great thing. Of course, you’ll still be able to read all of my contributions HERE , if you wish, but you’ll be in very good hands with Adrastos, Cassandra, Jamie O, and Shapiro. It’s been a helluva ride, and I thank you all for reading and commenting.
