Malaka Of The Week: Victor Marx

The campaign poster above shows Victor Marx as he wants to be seen: strong, resolute, mountainous. He looks like the Brawny Man for fuck’s sake. But there’s an ugly interior to that manly exterior and that is why Victor Marx is malaka of the week.

Victor Marx is the latest in a long string of nuts to run for office in Colorado. Fellow nutter and past malaka of the week Lauren Boebert was one of the few elected officials to endorse him in the GOP gubernatorial primary. He won and stands poised to lose in a landslide to Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser in the fall. Like many other wingnuts, Marx puts the goober in gubernatorial.

Manly Malaka Marx is a far right pastor who makes much of his troubled childhood and his creepy relationship with his creepy father, Karl. That’s right, this MAGA maggot’s daddy is named Karl Marx. That’s ironic given the third red scare launched by the Kaiser of Chaos and his minions. I wonder if there’s an Engels in the Marxist woodpile as well.

Karl Marx seems to live rent free in his son’s head:

“Marx has long claimed his stepfather forced him to shoot and kill a man at age 7, so [9 News anchor] Clark asked how many people he’d killed. Marx called the question “odd,” although he’d discussed the potential need to kill people multiple times between 2017 and 2025.

Maybe some people died because he’d defended himself in other countries, he conceded, but he’s not sure. “I don’t think that’s important,” he said.

This same pattern appears in Marx’s campaign operation itself: extraordinary claims followed by evasions, corrections and unanswered questions. “

Claims about killing people aren’t important? Would the Brawny Man duck such a question? Manly Malaka Marx did.

He’s also claimed to rescue people from unspecified peril. Sometimes it’s 45,000 other times it’s 43. Marx disclaimed responsibility for the first figure and blamed his IT contractor for posting it on his campaign website. That fits Marx’s pattern of making wild claims, backing away when called on them, then blaming someone else. Victor Marx’s motto seems to be: The buck stops elsewhere. Nothing, including his most egregious lies, is ever his fault. He’s Donald Trump in a flannel shirt.

Repeat after me: The manly man malakatude burns.

More shit hit the fan this week over an image posted on the platform formerly known as Twitter by one of Marx’s supporters, Sean Pond:

Holy polluted Pond, Batman.

Phil Wiser is Jewish. His mother is a Holocaust survivor. The devil horns are a vile anti-Semitic trope that had no place in mainstream politics before MAGA. Marx and the putrid Mr. Pond deny responsibility for this slur.

“Pond said he made the images “using AI” with a “direction … to portray Phil Weiser as evil and as the next threat to Colorado.” Pond also insisted he was unaware that Weiser, who has been Colorado’s attorney general since 2019, was Jewish.

“His religion was never considered because I did not know it,” wrote Pond. “There was no reference to Jewish people, no religious message, no dog whistle, and no hidden meaning.”

Pond further argued “Jewish politicians are subject to the same fierce political criticism as Christian politicians, Muslim politicians, atheist politicians, and everyone else seeking public power.”

“Phil Weiser does not receive immunity from political satire because of a personal fact I did not even know,” Pond added. “I will not apologize for opposing him.”

Instead, Pond should apologize for supporting Manly Malaka Marx and for blaming AI for this bigoted bile.

I suspect we’ll be hearing the BLAME IT ON AI excuse with increasing frequency as the campaign unfolds. MAGA is a movement based on finger pointing and blame shifting. Victor Marx is a piker compared to the Insult Comedian but his imitative buck passing makes him malaka of the week.

Repeat after me: The manly man malakatude burns.

The last word goes to Joe Walsh. Just change way to lie and you have Manly Malaka Marx in a wingnut shell.
