No, I do not believe Trump’s choice will be Gov. Pence of Indiana. Nor Newt, nor Christie — not even a man. Yes, I do believe the proposed VP will be a woman.

I suspect that Trump’s VP running mate will be ex-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Why? Well, she is a natural born citizen, a real conservative, and she is ferocious contra liberals/progressives. In addition, she isn’t on the list of speakers for the Cleveland Convention and she has been silent of late. She has had lots of experience in dealing with those demons from Hell (the MSM) and her nomination will literally terrify the GOPee boys club.

Good morning, everyone!

In case you were wondering (and even if you weren’t), my absence last week was due to my house being partially under water after the historic Dallas floods of May 23rd-24th. Let’s just say that a house full of 90db apiece blowers (7 of them) and loss of access to my PC for a week wasn’t conducive to doing posts (or much of anything else) , and my anxiety / borderline hysteria about spending our retirement savings on “like it never happened” to try and prevent black mold – and repairs – and recarpeting 3/4 of the house – didn’t help much.

OK – so what do we have this week?

I hope not.

Same here. I stopped taking Sarah Palin seriously when it became clear that she was more interested in being a celebrity and showcasing her family on reality TV than she was in policy. Add to that her fingernails on a chalkboard voice that makes Hillary’s shrill shrieking sound almost lyrical by comparison, and we’re left with a walking punchline rather than a VP pick.

The contest will be between Romney and Bush. That would be good for Conservatives in the primaries as the field of conservatives won’t be eliminating each other while the lefty gope stands in the wings waiting to roll over the later primaries as the only one left standing. I suspect, though, that the contest will be in the RNC et al and will be decided before the primaries. There will be no visible strife. It will all be done with money flows out of sight.
