OK – let’s get on with it. I was watching Freeperville Thursday morning, waiting for the shit that had already hit the fan everywhere else in the word to finally bob to the surface in Jim (Iearned my goverment hoverround) Rob’s sandbox.

When it did, it was almost with a sigh, and a deceptively complimentary headline:

“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he asked. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. If he had a better grasp of the fact that black family life has disintegrated in direct correlation to the “War on Poverty”, he has a defensible position. Throwing out that “picking cotton” allusion is just stupid.

Actually, if these statements are accurate he will be slammed by 90% of America for pretty blatant racist remarks. Paul, Heller, etc, pretty much everyone is going to walk about from someone who talks like this.
